Sensient Beauty Announces Launches for In-Cosmetics Global 2023

Sensient Beauty, a developer of high-purity colors and surface treatments is innovating with the goal to provide new application and sensory possibilities, will present its new launches at In-Cosmetics Global.

Extracted and upcycled from discarded aloe leaves and infused with coconut oil, Aloe Surface Treatment is a 100% natural, hydrophobic, easy to disperse, has high-pigment load and excellent spreadability. It also improves moisture, soothes sunburn and reduces irritations and is ideal for long-lasting make-up formulations, with excellent coverage and a velvety touch. 

 

To emphasize the good performance of this surface treatment, it won “Best Sensory Enhancing Ingredient” for PCHi 2023 Fountain Awards.

 

Another innovation is the Covalight EMO BA, a unique hydrophobic surface treatment dispersed in C15- 10 Alkane, easy-to-use and Cosmos certified, for a broad range of face make-up formulations with high-pigment load, yet soft and lightweight feel.

 

With regard to the “Sun care” category, Sensient has studies that prove that treated mineral filters can really optimize sun care formulations besides offering greater SPF protection compared to the non-treated ones. Given the trend towards inclusivity and diversity, the need for cosmetic products that do not leave a white cast is imperative. To help formulations to develop this type of product, UV Zn0 PS45 AS is a hydrophobic transparent Zinc surface treated with alkyl silane that provides a great balance between UV protection and transparency. 

 

Mindful of the rising demand for naturalness for makeup and skincare products, Sensient is launching Nature Colfine, a line composed by natural colors obtained by spray drying natural dye on a substrate. Five bright and vivid colors are recommended for anhydrous formulations or nail varnishes:

 

Natpure Colfine Burgundy P313— A sophisticated deep, dark red color with violet tones;

Natpure Colfine Plum C314—A reddish purple shade;

Natpure Colfine Magenta B312— A worldwide famous hue of vibrant pink warmth;

Natpure Colfine Crimson R319— A strong, bright, deep red color;

Natpure Colfine Poppy R311— A joyful reddish orange; and
